A typical day at playcare

7:00am – 8:30am:
Arrivals Dogs are checked in, their belongings stored in their cubbies, and they wait in their individual “rooms” for play to begin.
8:30am – 11:30am:
Morning Activities Dogs participate in ball-fetching, chasing games, wrestling, “A-frame” climbing, tunnel running, etc.
11:30am – 12:00pm:
Individual Attention Special needs are attended to, lunch/snacks are distributed, etc.
12:00pm – 2:00pm:
Nap Time Yes, they actually rest! This time is also reserved for mental stimulation games. This is important quiet time, as they have had a very active morning and need to unwind and relax. Peanut butter-filled Kong toys are provided for mental stimulation during this time.
2:00pm – 4:30pm:
Exercise More ball-fetching, chasing games and tunnel running.
4:30pm – 5:00pm:
Individual Attention It’s dinner time for our overnight guests, salon time for those that need a bit of tidying up before going home and time for other special needs that our guests may require.
5:00pm -7:00pm:
Pick Up for Daycare Dogs Slow-paced play to unwind before your pooch is picked up.

Boarding Only

6:30pm – 7:30pm:
Evening Exercise More ball-fetching, chasing games, wrestling, “A-Frame” climbing, and tunnel running, etc.
7:30pm –  8:00 pm:
Wind Down Late night potty and last romp with their buddies before getting tucked in to recharge for the next day of play!
8:00pm:
Lights Out Love, kisses and cuddling! Each dog is tucked in with his or her own iCalmDog music player that plays four hours of Through A Dog’s Ear music, clinically demonstrated to calm canines.
